motherhood PHOTOGRAPHY

Hello! And thanks for being here!

Hi, I am Amy - photographer, mother, musician, toddler entertainer, happiest in wellies and in water. Music was always my first love - I am a violinist and hold a Music degree - but photography has never been far behind. That's me aged about 4, camera in hand - and I was always the one snapping away on school trips, orchestra tours and university nights out!

After 15 years spent teaching music and working on community music projects - the last decade in London schools - I finally left school in 2022. I have been photographing bumps, babies and weddings since 2015, and I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to build a second career doing something creative that I love. Becoming a mother brought home to me just how important it is to document your days... one minute you have a tiny bump, and the next you are getting them ready for their first day of school! My photography is focused on you, just as you are - embracing pregnancy sickness and sleepless nights and chaotic toddlers - and helping you see your strength and beauty even when enduring the toughest of motherhood moments.

I am made of the countryside and concert halls, cycle rides and cold water dips in the sea.
